Artist's Statement-In Brief
My work embodies the frustration of recollection, of
trying to remember someone you have not seen in a
long time, only to find the difficulty of gaining a
clear mental picture that is seemingly just beyond
reach. The dilution and translation of photos into
blurred, defaced, and dissolved images illustrate
how our visualizations are constantly changing and
the fundamental fact of human impermanence.
