An exhibition of paintings by Leah L. Wong and Christine Heindl

Although stylistically different, Leah L. Wong and Christine Heindl share interests in a playful engagement of the painting surface, use of collage and animal imagery, and a concern for exploring the space of abstract painting which is informed by multiple sources including illustration, popular culture, and decorative arts.

Leah L. Wong attended China National Academy of Fine Arts where she received her BFA in Painting and will receive her MFA in Painting from Ohio University this spring. She teaches at Columbus College of Art and Design.

Christine Heindl received her MFA from Cornell University in 1994 and was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship in Painting in 2001. She teaches at Ohio University.
